Starting with this month, the Amplusnet blog has moved on the WordPress CMS platform. The look is lighter and more elegant. Actually, the corporate theme we have adopted is quite open and a great basis for CSS further customization. But this is not the main reason we switched from BlogEngine.NET to WordPress. Everyone who has set up a WordPress blog can see that the online plugin database comes with an incredible large amount of items, one for every need. They also come with super easy installation and update possibility. The posts, categories and tags are handled more efficient and the comments won’t give you a hard time anymore.
The SEO orientation given by WordPress is obvious and it’s quite refreshing to know that your blog can become so friendly with the search engines also, not just with the readers. These are just a few main reasons that recommended the change. And they are all there, on the list of every new “charmed by WordPress” blogger.
But what really made us do it:
It can be best experienced right there, in the admin panel. You can actually feel the dynamism of the entire blog. Every section is configurable and set to make it easier for you. The flow is intuitive so that you rarely need to consult the Codex for documentation. This is the power of this platform expressed in flexibility and control.
